I am a CBT psychotherapist; I have been treating and diagnosing since 2012. My experience involves : co occurring disorders, DUIs, parenting skills, psychoeducation for parents/caregivers about children/adults with mental illnesses. I also have provided clinical management treatment. I also have treated TBI patients experiencing adjustment challenges to their new limitations, due to their new brain injury diagnosis. In addition , I also have experience working with juveniles involved with the legal system, juveniles going through sexual dysphoria and juveniles with social anxiety. Children and families going through the welfare/Dependency/custody courts. Last, I have worked with children with active military parents, and provided coping skills as to their new changes, such as deployment, transitioning and the parent left as the 'single' parental force in the home. Although I consider myself, very loyal to Albert Ellis, Cognitive Behavior Approach, I like to incorporate solution focus techniques; thus maintaining a flexibility and open mind when assessing client's needs.
