My basic orientation in life has been and is now to see how to help improve what currently exists or how to repair whatever is not working as it should. I think like an engineer yet my ability to connect with people and their issues is where I tap into my high energy and inventiveness. I have functioned as an independent businessman in counseling-consulting since 1978-45 years. The capacity to chart new paths in my career has been mandatory to continue as a successful small business owner. Measurable success was my primary focus when I decided to complete a Masters program in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling instead of a PhD in Counseling Psychology. Also I was not in love with researching and then writing a 50-60 page dissertation during a 7 year graduate program. As it turned out, in my practice I have completed about 8 research projects which required 30-45 page reports that had to be written in a manner that successfully withstood opposition legal review. My condensed life story is being an introvert, an inveterate reader until college, naturally physically large and strong and instinctively accepting of all people on their individual merits. I have personal experience with intolerance and amazing generosity. My function is to provide operational help as you peel the layers of challenge or find your path of fulfillment or grow your sense of personal power to the point your home grown support is sufficient
