I have been working with individuals, couples and families since 2006 in various counseling settings. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of South Carolina and have over fifteen years of post-graduate clinical experience. I graduated with honors from Dallas Theological Seminary where I received my MA in Counseling. I consider it a high honor and sacred trust when a client comes to me to work on issues facing them. I approach each client with a strong commitment to listen well and understand where they are coming from. I believe a good counselor builds trust with his client, listens actively and asks good questions to help the individual seeking counseling discover the right direction for the issues they are facing. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapeutic techniques in counseling and often approach counseling from a solution focused perspective where I help guide the client to establish therapeutic goals and then together we work to meet those goals.
