I am a psychotherapist with 44 years of experience. I am licensed in Maryland as a LCSW-C and am a Board Certified Supervisor. I primarily worked at Kaiser Permanente until 2017 and have since supervised privately. I am now wanting to return to offering therapy through the teletherapy format.
My work experience has been with adults individually, in couples therapy, family therapy and in groups. I have helped clients facing various life challenges and with a variety of diagnoses including depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia. I strive to help my clients recognize their strengths and supports in order to better cope with their problems. Primarily I use a psychodynamic method with an emphasis on short term therapy. I also use cognitive therapy techniques as well as mindfulness techniques.
