Welcome to Find A Therapist. Arriving here is the first step in moving forward and making positive changes in your life. We all face challenges and seeking assistance can be helpful in resolving barriers to our aspirations and goals.

My name is Francis Finn. I go by Frank and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia. I earned a Master of Social Work with a concentration in family systems therapy from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. I have had many varied experiences in my professional career including working with children, adolescents and adults facing issues such as anxiety and depression, coping with daily stress as well as adjusting to difficult life circumstances.
I know the prospect of sharing your challenges with another person is an important decision. Telling your story to someone else can be difficult and requires courage. I want you to know that I understand the significance of this decision and that I will honor your trust should you choose to work with me. I believe my role is to listen and offer feedback as you explore the issues you would like to address. Ultimately, decisions about how to move forward are yours. My goals are to enhance your awareness of important considerations and to help you arrive at a place of comfort with your decisions.

My practice hours are 9am – 5pm Monday - Thursday, I generally can respond at least once per morning and once per evening, sometimes more! You can also book a live session with me ahead of time. Please remember that Find A Therapist is not appropriate if you are in crisis or in immediate need of support. In crisis situations, please call 911 or local emergency services. You can also call 1-800-273-TALK (8255) to talk to someone right away.
