Hi, I'm Francine and I'm a California Native that grew up in Belize. I later moved to Texas to go to college. It was a major adjustment! Therefore, change is very familiar to me and diversity is also a part of the fabric of my being. I also understand what it's like to feel like life is less than what you'd like it to be and more than what you feel you can handle. Therefore, I primarily use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) as it is empirally proven to help with personality disorders as well as common challenges in mental wellness such as depression and anxiety. I am also trained in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for children and adolescents. I have worked in mental health for 7 years and have been a licensed counselor in Texas for 4 years. I have experience helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma, anger management, bipolar disorder, & depression. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage and I am here to nonjudgmentally support you on your journey to healing.
