I am licensed as an LPCC in New Mexico, where I live; and am also licensed in Nebraska as an LMHP and LPC. I have about 20 years experience in the counseling field, working in Private Practice, Employee Assistance Programs and at an Inpatient Unit at a Hospital. Brief Therapy is probably my "go to" approach, hence my EAP experience; and some old Transactional Analysis jumps in there from time to time. But actually I love "Talk Therapy". Sometimes all of us just need some one to talk to (confidentially and privately) in order to sort out our concerns and feelings. I can do that for you. I have worked with almost every problem out there, but these are some of my expertise: Codependency, Womens' Issues, 12 -Step, Divorce Adjustment, Change and just simple Family Issues.

I am glad you are reaching out to talk to some one. Remember, if we keep doing the same things over and over and do not seek a way to change, we will stay stuck. And change is hard. A teacher a long time ago, told me that our body does not know the difference between the physical feelings of being scared or being happy. They both are the same physically, but it is what we think or put in our brain that controls us.
