Therapy is, in my opinion, something that everyone needs at some point in their life, but not everyone has access to. Cultural issues are often times the biggest barrier between people who need therapy and people who receive therapy. One's racial background can play a huge role in therapy, as feeling understood is a key element in any good therapeutic relationship. My clients are a diverse group, coming to therapy to address issues that they feel can be best helped and understood by a therapist of color. Whether it be anxiety, depression, impostor syndrome, childhood trauma, or some other problem leading you to therapy, I’ll be here, when you’re ready.
