I have over 25 years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the California. Many of the individuals I have helped and worked with are experiencing a variety of personal dilemmas that cover the wide spectrum of personal and mental health issues. I assist individuals experiencing changes in their mood as a byproduct of issues going on around them as they struggle to cope with finding balance within their life. Or, maybe they seek counseling to help them cope with perceptions related to self-esteem; job-related issues; or life transitions due to a recent loss. In my sessions with individuals, I utilize a variety of clinical tools to assist you find solutions to your needs. This may involve taking you through a process of understanding how your existing beliefs and thoughts have a positive, or negative, affect on your behavior. I also, utilize a form of Mindfulness to help you understand your situation and help take you through the process of creating individualized affirmations which can help minimize your anxiety or stress.

As a part of my experience, I also have worked for 20 plus years as a Certified, Advanced Social Worker Care Manager (C-ASWCM). In my role as a Geriatric Care Manager, I have assisted adult children cope with the stresses and strains of caring for their aging parent(s). Tapping into my experience working in geriatric assessment centers, I will take your family through a process of assessing and evaluating problems/issues/concerns. Once priorities are identified, I help families lay out solutions to address each priority, as well as assist with identifying appropriate community resources.

No matter what your needs may be, I will actively listen with empathy, be non-judgmental, and try to help you feel better at the end of each session.
