My name is Florine and I'm a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with 8 years of experience working in the field. Most of my experience has been primarily working with older adults in the community and acute hospital setting . I have experience with helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with grief and loss, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I also have experience working with depression. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you.

My therapy style is warm, compassionate, and interactive. I like to use a person-centered approach to allow for a pace that works best and most comfortable for my clients. I aim for treatment plans that are unique and specific toward your preferred goals. I combine a person-centered approach with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy, psychodynamic, and motivational interviewing as it corresponds to each client.

It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. I encourage honesty and allow for a free open space to express your feelings and emotions. I am here to support & empower you as you explore this journey.
