Life is stressful and uncertain during the best of times. My job is to help you work through the difficult situations and painful emotions you may face on a daily basis. Instead of focusing on what’s wrong, I prefer to find out what’s working in your life and build on areas of strength and resilience. I operate on the assumption that you are the expert on you, and that I am merely a member of your team. I will always advocate for self-determination and safety when it comes to your well-being. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the states of California, Florida, and Tennessee and a member of the National Association of Social Workers. I acquired my master of social work (MSW) degree from the University of Southern California. Before that, I attended Columbia University and earned a master's degree in journalism. After graduation from USC, I worked in community mental health clinics, specializing in forensic social work and severe co-occurring disorders, including substance use, mood and psychotic disorders.
