About

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, in the state of Washington, where I have resided for the last 6 years. I obtained my Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology in California and my initial licensure. I have years of experience working with people who want to make positive changes in their lives. I am very eclectic in my approach to treatment and use many different tools, borrowed from the many different types of therapies, to assist my clients in learning and utilizing what will best work for them in their everyday life. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings and community and county based centers. I work with families, children, and adults who present with many different types of disorders and symptoms to include; depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosis, personality disorders, grief and loss and self-esteem building, to name a few.

I provide a very warm and empathetic atmosphere for my clients which contains unconditional positive regard as we work toward finding independence and positive self awareness. I am very goal oriented, client centered and want to help my clients to be empowered with knowledge and tools to assist them in being fully capable of finding their own goals and achieve self growth. I use Solution Focused, Client Centered, Gestalt, CBT and additional therapies to help my clients, with my assistance, set their own goals and objectives and work through their traumas feeling empowered and assertive that they can make these changes.
I am happy and honored to go on this journey with you for self discovery, self growth, awareness and for "magic" to happen. My goal is to help you to find the best way to live a life with meaning, joy and satisfaction.
