I am a North Carolinian. I enjoy swimming, walking, reading, and socializing. I have been providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations for over three decades. My specialty areas are depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, ADHD, codependency, and addiction. Once I complete a thorough evaluation, I provide recommendations based on areas you identified during the evaluation that need to be addressed in therapy. I understand reaching out for help is a difficult process, but necessary if one is to have joy, happiness, contentment, peace, and love. Life challenges can be overwhelming and stressful. Asking for help may not be easy, but it is necessary if one is to overcome them. We all have experienced, at some point in our lives, painful moments, finding ourselves alone, perhaps no one can understand, or maybe fear of being judged. It takes courage and resiliency to take the first step towards healing wounds.
