I am a clinical social worker licensed in California. I have worked in my field for 9 years. I have worked in a variety of settings from crisis intervention, outreach to young adults categorized as high risk, to adoption and foster care. During that time, I have worked with clients from a wide range of life experiences. My areas of expertise are anxiety, depression, crisis intervention, domestic violence, trauma and abuse, anger management, attachment disorders, ADHD, substance abuse, foster care, adoption, career issues, and sleep issues. In my practice, I implement both therapy and coaching strategies.
My therapy style is very interactive. My approach combines client-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. I find it helpful to participate in video sessions so that we can get to know each other better but am also available for messaging, and/or phone sessions.
Currently, my only availability is for sessions on Fridays at 9:30 or 10:30 am. Looking forward to working with you!
