My professional and personal passions center on identifying how individuals, couples, families, and communities can grow and thrive in practical ways. Achieving success begins with defining it … for yourself. It’s a privilege to work collaboratively with my clients to pursue healing and create sustainable health on their own terms. A positive therapeutic relationship isn’t only “talking”. It consists of building a rapport based on mutual respect and authentic communication. I respect my clients’ ability to access their own power. While my training and professional skill are here to guide, my clients are the experts on their lived experiences. We simply work together to make sense of it. As well as being an LCSW, I’m also a Certified Yoga Instructor. I believe in the power of mindfulness and developing awareness of how the body and mind are interconnected. While I work with a myriad of populations and use a number of modalities, I have significant experience working with older adolescents and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and educational and professional stressors.
