Professional Background With 25 years of experience, my approach to therapy is founded on compassion and respect for my client. I specialize in trauma therapy, with a multicultural world perspective. My aim is to provide meaningful, comprehensive care, based on the idea that we all come with our own unique history, life views, culture, and values. I work with individuals, families, and couples. Past work with foster children and creating mentorship programs gives me a unique perspective on the development of children through adulthood with the ability to coach through major life transitions. I wish to create a safe space and a holistic environment where one can feel comfortable and grow. I specialize in childhood, adolescent, and adult populations. A certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (CBT) with extensive experience with acute and complex trauma (TF-CBT certified) and EMDR (EMDR certified), I incorporate Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, and Theraplay in therapy.
