I am a clinical social worker who has been licensed for over 20 years in the state of Texas.
I am a generalist which means that I can assist anyone at any age but have the most experience assisting people with persistent serious mental illness. I believe in using a variety of methods to meet the client where they are at including motivational interviewing, psychoanalysis, mindfulness therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. I have an extensive history of serving a variety of populations including people with both mental and medical illness, children and adolescents, and also people with medical issues. I also have an extensive history of assisting clients who are survivors of abuse and trauma.
