About
I help improve mental health and quality of life by assisting you in managing your work/life/balance. Stressors come everyday and I believe it's important to identify how you will juggle life itself and maintain homeostasis. In every aspect of your life that is important, what we concentrate on the most, can cause a shift in equilibrium that does not translate well to other areas of your life. Will your work performance be affected? Will your relationships be affected? I love being able to meet you where you are at and start a conversation to get to the root of your struggles. Whether we have to take steps backwards to unravel or reprocess to gain insight, build objective and measureable goals to formulate solutions. I believe that therapy is a joint process to help identify areas of concern and help make changes in individuals lives by changing their ways of thinking, identifying strengths, letting go of any repetitive behaviors that illicit the same response, and taking accountability and responsibility that not all our stressors are our fault. Taking in considerations such as adverse childhood experiences, direct and indirect trauma, attachment and bonding, can bring burdens that we're unaware of that significantly affect our relationships, bring burdens of anxiety, depression and self-guilt. I provide a safe environment for those individuals struggling with life adjustment issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship discord, divorce, and assist with identifying parenting styles to co-parent best with your children and the other parent/caregiver. In addition, I assist in trauma processing by assisting greater awareness of trauma, it's triggers, impact on behavior, de-escalation strategies, and grounding techniques for crisis intervention. I also help high performers manage anxiety and avoid burnout. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance.
