Hi there! Thank you for taking this first step and looking at my profile.
I am a licensed mental health therapist in upstate New York. I have worked as a therapist in multiple settings including intensive inpatient for adolescents, outpatient therapy and, medication assisted substance abuse therapy addressing struggles related to depression, anxiety and, traumatic experiences.
I take a strength based, person centered approach to therapy; I believe that we are the experts in our lives and we all have the skills to reach our goals. Sometimes we lose the ability to see or tap in to our strengths and we need some backup! My approach combines person centered, narrative therapy and cognitive-behavioral techniques to help you feel safe and understood. I hope that while working with you, I can help you to see that you are strong and capable of reaching your goals.
