I have been a therapist since 2004, and I am currently licensed by the State of California. I have been in private practice since 2012, working primarily with adults and adolescents struggling with issues ranging from posttraumatic stress to depression. I integrate several therapeutic modalities, primarily cognitive-behavioral theories and techniques as well as the work of Carl Rogers ("client-centered therapy," which involves empathy, reflection, and unconditional positive regard). My greatest strength as a therapist is my capacity for empathy and unconditional positive regard. I am validating, supportive, accepting and nonjudgmental towards all my clients, regardless of who they are or why they are seeking treatment. As a result, my clients trust me, and they know I genuinely want them to be successful in whatever goals we are working towards.
