About
Thanks for stopping by to view my profile. This is the first step in your healing process. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and hold a license in New Mexico. I have been in the field of social work since 2012 working in child protective services and transferred to the field of counseling in 2017. Throughout my time as a social worker, I have worked with people of many different backgrounds, experiences, stressors, traumas and mental health disorders. I specialize in anxiety, depression, family dynamic analysis and resolution, stress management, adoption, abuse/neglect, domestic violence, self-esteem, women's issues, communication, anger management, parenting, and much more. I enjoy working with all ages and I offer an LGBTQIA+ affirming approach and have assisted in the process of identity formation, transitioning, opening dialect between the individual and support, and much more. My goal is for my clients to feel comfortable, confident and supported in their process of healing and success.
I believe that in order to find peace, one must have hope. A wonderful quote I have come to believe full heartedly is by John Green. It reads, "There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn't." An English and Irish proverb I love says, "Hope is the dream of the waking person." I would love to help you establish hope through healing and look forward to helping you through this process.
