Understanding a persons story is the foundation to healing. I have over 20 years experience with a bachelor degree in psychology and a master degree in social work. I am a license clinical social worker and licensed independent social worker (LCSW, LISW) . I have been married for 42 years and have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. My husband is a retired United States Marine and we have lived from coast to coast. I am also a play therapist and have worked with children as young as 2 years old. Therefore, I enjoy working with parents who may be struggling with parenting issues. I work with people with trauma, sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, stress, relationship struggles, thinking errors, etc. I understand the unique issues that military families may face and enjoy working with them. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), client centered therapy and therapy based in grounded theory. I am a kind, straight forward therapist who believes people have the answers and strength within. I am lucky enough to have people trust me, and let me into their life, so that I may help them achieve their goals. I look forward to working with you.
