Erin is a holistic licensed clinical social worker who believes in focusing on individuals’s potential, resilience and strengths while acknowledging the challenges they face. She utilizes a CBT skills based model to each presenting situation to help individuals learn, grow and meet their goals. Her particular areas of interest are in mindfulness, stress and social signaling. She enjoys helping individuals with anxiety, depression and attentional problems to cope better and improve their lives. She has been intensively trained in Mindfulness, DBT and RO-DBT.

While pursuing her Masters degree, she became interested in DBT skills and had an internship providing DBT services at a community clinic with adults. Upon completion of her MSW, she became a DBT therapist for the Portland DBT clinic.

Erin has presented at conferences, colleges and businesses on Mindfulness, DBT, improving skills training and various psychology topics. She has offered mindfulness retreats and parenting workshops.

Erin is in private practice in Portland where she resides with her son near the waterfront. She has another child in college and in her personal time enjoys piano, live music, dancing, cooking, friends, travel and new experiences, while finding her personal and professional edges to learn and grow from.
