Hello, and Welcome! Reaching out can be a scary first step, but I am glad that you are here. My name is Erin, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois with over 10 years of social work experience. I've spent the last 4 years in private practice specializing in depression and anxiety as well as grief and loss issues. I've also worked in various settings, including schools, hospitals, and as a grief counselor in funeral service.

My therapeutic style is relaxed and conversational. I like being able to connect with my clients in a warm, empathetic, and comfortable way so that we can decide the best plan of action for our time together. I provide a supportive and encouraging perspective while also providing guidance when needed to help you achieve your goals. I use strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as solution-focused and client-centered therapy. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). We will work together to come up with a plan that best suits your unique needs and goals.
