My name is Erika, and I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed clinical social worker in Maryland. Life hardships and stressors can be difficult to cope with, so I am here to help you navigate life’s ebbs and flows. I believe you are the expert on your life, and I am a guide and support to help you create positive change and overcome emotional hardship.

My therapy style is compassionate, gentle, and collaborative. Whether you prefer a more structured and solution-focused approach, or a more non-directive approach, we will work together to identify the best therapeutic style and modality to help you reach your goals. I hope to provide you with a safe space to process thoughts, feelings, and lived experiences, and to work through anything that may be keeping you stuck. You can expect me to approach each session with empathy, warmth, respect, and non-judgment.

I have several years of experience providing psychotherapy to a diverse population of clients, working with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and low self-esteem. I also have specialized training in CBT, DBT, CPT, and TF-CBT. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change.
