About

I am a Clinical Social Worker and I am currently pursuing a PhD in Integrative Medicine. For several years I have been working with people from different backgrounds, ages, and cultures, including veterans and women victims of domestic violence and abuse. I have also coached and trained executives and supervisors in leadership and personal growth and provided coaching in their areas of need.

During my years of experience, I have supported and cooperated with individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, life and career challenges, post traumatic stress disorder, lack of motivation and low self-esteem.

My personal approach is empathetic, very professional, and understanding. I always start from where the client is, and from there we develop a plan focused on the individual’s goals and needs. My counseling style combines cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused interventions, mindfulness, as well as a strength-based and empowerment approaches.

I believe in people and I believe in change. We all have issues at some point in our life and sometimes we need someone free of judgement to support and guide us throughout the process of overcoming those situations. Life gets better when we have someone to rely on.
