I am here to give you the space to express your thoughts and your feelings; and then provide the tools you need to drastically improve your quality of life. Together, we will find the true source of your problem. Once discovered, we can discuss and implement concrete solutions.

I’ve been in the counseling practice for 15 years. I've practiced online for 4 years.* My clients most frequently request help with symptoms of depression and anxiety, sometimes alongside substance abuse. I’m able to assist with problems related to relationships, motivation, communication, emotion regulation, and life transitions.

My MA in Counseling Psychology is from Northwestern University. I was trained in a variety of clinical approaches. The program is rooted in psychoanalytic theory and consideration of the individual in the context of systems (family, organizational, social). Strong therapeutic rapport, self-reflection, accurate empathy, and a non-judgmental stance are the foundation of my work. My treatment plans are formulated using evidence-based, well-researched practices. I draw heavily on CBT, DBT, REBT, Schema Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Positive Psychology to help my clients reach their goals.

My style has been described as insightful, empathic, positive, and direct. I do not underestimate the intelligence of those I work with, nor their ability to answer difficult questions.

I believe if one is mentally healthy, everything else in life will fall into place. I hope to hear from you.
