My name is Ericka White and I am a licensed clinical social worker licensed in both California and Missouri. I believe in order to make treatment successful, one must look at the entire person: biological, psychological, sociological and spiritual. all of these aspects work together to make you who you are today. My approach I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy as well as solution focused therapy. My focus I work with adults who are struggling with mental health conditions, including depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive, compulsive disorder, and various psychotic disorders. My communication style I am easy going and accepting of everyone. There is never any judgement of struggles you are going through. I actively listen, show empathy, and meet you where you are emotionally. My journey to therapy Personal experience of family and friends with mental health concerns attracted me to this profession. Society is lacking in mental health care and I want to be part of changing that. My goals for you Goal setting is client led. If you are unsure of what goals you’d like to set, I will explore them with you. My first session with you Expect to share your story and what brought you to therapy. I will also complete an assessment of needs and any relevant information regarding past treatment.
