About
I am a bilingual/bi-cultural therapist with experience working with a diverse population throughout my education and training. I work with adolescents and adults who have trouble with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, difficulty processing and coming to terms with the history of trauma, and individuals questioning the source of their self-doubt and self-criticism. I use an eclectic approach of integrating evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Treatment, and Motivational Interviewing, because each individual’s needs are unique, and… life happens! Clients and their desired outcomes drive therapy goals. I work with clients in creating a roadmap of what they want to get out of therapy and how to get the most out of each session. My role as a therapist is to empower clients to identify their potential and acquire coping skills to help them thrive through change, growth, and healing. A good therapeutic relationship should include trust and authenticity while providing clients with a nonjudgmental environment to produce desirable outcomes.
