About

I am a mom, wife, counselor, and doctoral candidate at the University of Mississippi. I have been a counselor for 10 years, licensed in the state for 8 years, and have applied for my supervisory credential with the LPC board. I have a passion for the field of counseling and love helping people experience their best possible lives. I practice a client-centered approach, but also use tools from various treatment approaches to address my client's specific and individualized needs. Because I maintain a humanistic, client-centered mindset, I find it easy to empathize with clients and tackle their issues as a partner. I believe we are all doing the best we can at any given moment and that life can get tough. When that happens, there is no shame in asking for help. It is my privilege to help my clients reach their potential and overcome life's difficulties.
