About

We all experience the peaks and valleys of life. Despite our attempts at planning, making to-do lists, and checking the traffic ahead of time, life tends to have a way of throwing us curveballs every now and again. Sometimes they are brief stints of loneliness while others are quite larger life challenges. We can even feel like the same struggles re-surface time and time again.

While we cannot simply avoid these issues, you can learn how to get through them in healthier ways. We can use these hardships as an opportunity for personal growth. They can even help us gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for ourselves and what strengths we have. After all, YOU have all the tools right there within you. I promise. And I am here to help you find them and use them to your greatest advantage.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a degree from Central Connecticut State University. I have 6 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families with a variety of issues such as Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Schizophrenia, Mood Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, relationship issues and developmental and life transitions. I have been providing intensive in-home therapy to families with children and adolescents who suffer from severe depression or anxiety, self-harming, suicidality, and other mental health struggles. I then went on to manage the program, supervising and guiding other clinicians through treatment. I also devote a portion of my time to seeing clients in private practice.

I am a compassionate clinician and have experience using therapeutic models such as Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral Therapies, and Structural Therapy. I have a very client centered approach and prefer to co-create goals together using strengths and parts that you already posses, rather than trying techniques that simply don’t fit every person. I believe in self-care and acceptance as being the key to holistic, positive growth and change and I am passionate about helping families, individuals and couples overcome life struggles and striving toward overall happiness.
