I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker based in Iowa with extensive experience in providing direct mental health and behavioral counseling to adults who grapple with an array of challenges, such as ADHD, LGBTQ+ related issues, depression, anxiety, and complex trauma.

I firmly believe that life should be more than just a daily struggle. Experiencing ADHD or the unique challenges of being "neurospicy" can make it seemingly impossible to meet your goals. Navigating through depression, anxiety, or carrying the weight of shame-based experiences related to experiences of being 'different' or 'other,' along with past traumas, can lead to a roller-coaster of emotions, persistent apprehension, a sense of disconnection, distress, and bewilderment.

No matter how overwhelming things feel in this moment, we can chart a path towards greater empowerment, tranquility, and happiness in your life. I am well-versed in Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, a holistic mind-body approach (TEB), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing. I skillfully weave these approaches to support you in harmonizing your mind, body, and life with your inner wisdom and innate knowledge.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with numerous clients, both individually and in group settings, to assist them in shedding shame-based narratives, embracing their strengths and inner power, and accomplishing their diverse goals. These aspirations may encompass gaining insight, enlightenment, enhancing relationships, pursuing a fulfilling career, or other personal ambitions.
