About

I am a Clinically Licensed Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working within a range of settings including both inpatient and outpatient mental health, home healthcare services, crisis intervention, domestic violence and trauma, shelter services and most currently with our Veteran population. I have worked with people regarding their concerns with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, relationships, adjustment, grief and parenting to name a few.

I believe that the best place to start in a therapeutic relationship is to meet you where you are. Everyone has their own unique experience and I believe you are the expert on you. I use a solution-focused, strengths-based approach to do this. I will always treat you with respect and sensitivity. Therapeutic interventions I use include Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing and Dialectical-Behavioral (DBT) therapies.

I view my overall biggest role is to know what your goals are and serve as a guide to help you find your way over the bumps that have, and do come up along the way. I look forward to working with you on your journey!
