I entered the counseling field with the aspiration of helping individuals through adversity. My own experiences increased my compassion for others & fueled my passion to assist them so that each decision leads them to a happier, more balanced life. We all face difficulties & sometimes we need help or a new perspective to move through them. I find fulfillment in empowering clients to learn adaptive coping skills, own their worth & set boundaries with themselves & in their interpersonal relationships.
I have experience working with substance use, disordered & emotional eating, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, self-esteem, and interpersonal difficulties. I use an eclectic range of therapeutic modalities as each client’s needs will be different.
