I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State with more than 5 years of experience as a therapist. I have provided psychotherapy to individuals from all walks of life and with ages ranging from teens to upper 90s. I have also worked with individuals and groups tackling substance abuse, domestic violence and anger management issues, learning and physical disabilities and individuals on the autism spectrum,

I treat clients as individuals, using empathy, active listening, reflection, validation and acceptance. My goal is to create a supportive environment in which you can grow through self exploration. Safety and trust are the key ingredients to make true growth possible. I also offer specific psychotherapeutic tools, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and progressive relaxation when they fit your particular needs.

We all experience challenges as human beings. Some result from our individual life circumstances. At times we may unintentionally add to our own struggles by getting stuck in unhealthy cycles of thinking and behavior.
