Hello! My name is Eric Eason. I have a Master's Degree in Counseling Education with a concentration in mental health and substance use. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Advance Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). I have been providing counseling services for more than 25 years in various settings, e.g., inpatient treatment, residential treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, outpatient treatment and jail/prison re-entry.

My theoretical approaches range from several cognitive behavioral therapies which include (Rational Self-Analysis and Rational Emotive Therapy). My counseling techniques consists of Motivational Interviewing, identifying negative thoughts, goal-setting, problem-solving, self-monitoring, practicing new skills (coping skills and rehearsing/role-playing), journaling, and relaxation techniques,
