Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor – North Carolina My passion is to provide a place for individuals to show up exactly as they are, feeling welcome to share and process their experiences. I view therapy as a joint effort directed toward discovering underlying causes of thoughts and behaviors, creating positive outcomes, and fostering personal growth. There is no doubt that human experiences can be stressful, painful, and even traumatic. As a therapist, I am dedicated to providing a relationship which a person can use to develop a fulfilling sense of self, others, and the world around them. It is my experience that no two people perceive or respond to problems in quite the same way. Therefore, there is no single approach that is effective for every individual. I utilize a range of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-focused Brief Therapy. My educational background includes a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Malone University in Canton, Ohio.
