As a fully licensed marriage and family therapist and a licensed clinical addiction specialist associate, I come with unique and diverse experiences as a mental health professional that have crafted my systemic art of psychotherapy. I like to think of therapy as a crafted experience for each individual. Let me assist in your unique journey to transformation. I come with specialties with cultural competence, IDD, substance use, family conflict, trauma, individual and relational challenges, and mental health disorders. Working with different mental health environments has allowed me the opportunity to work with young children through geriatrics. I am passionate in what I do. I believe in therapy and what it can do.
Having the ability and experience to be a therapist within diverse environments in the mental health field, has given me a better understanding of how to approach the art of therapy. Though I have the knowledge and utilize evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, Solution-focused, and MI, I craft each and every client’s experience based on a person-centered ideology. That entails me, the therapist, learning from my client, and guiding them based on the needs that are expressed.
