I am a licensed mental health counselor experienced in working with a diverse variety of clients. I have experience providing effective counseling to clients who want to work on general anxiety/depression, address past trauma, and generally explore their identity and values. I also have helped many clients through life changes such as career shifts, losing loved ones, moving, and other major events.
My passion is helping people with autism spectrum disorder and their family members. Individuals with ASD, and their parents/siblings, often have difficulty finding a therapist who understands the systems they are forced to navigate in order to access resources/help. My in-depth knowledge of these systems, combined with my experience providing effective psychotherapy for parents, has helped me become a leading name in mental health therapy for ASD families in WA state.
My specialties include EMDR for relief from trauma symptoms, talk therapy for a deeper understanding of self, and parent coaching/behavioral therapy. My parent coaching is aimed at helping children/youth with ASD and other developmental disabilities lead fulfilling, meaningful lives; I also address safety concerns and stabilizing home environments.
