About

I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker with 5 years of experience working in the mental health field. I have worked in an inpatient setting treating individuals diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia. I continued working with this population as I transitioned to work at a VA medical facility. Most recently I worked with Veterans diagnosed with a Substance Use Disorder on both an inpatient and outpatient basis.

My counseling style largely depends on you. I encourage feedback from my clients regarding my style or the direction of our sessions, as this better helps me in providing you with the best possible care. I believe in treating everyone with respect, dignity, and empathy. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and dialectical behavior therapies.
