I believe every human is seeking meaning in their lives. We long to be loved, accepted, safe, and fulfilled. Many of us have been deprived of these experiences due to complicated circumstances, situations, and relationships. We get stuck doing the best we can to survive when we were meant to thrive.

This is where I come into play. I am a licensed mental health counselor with comprehensive experience working with people of all ages. I specialize in life transitions, trauma, relationship issues, depression, and anxiety. Combining my advanced training with my natural strengths of empathy and compassion, I help clients discover the life they desire and deserve. I will stand with you every step of the way as you face uncomfortable experiences, explore underlying core emotional issues, and move toward healing. I will teach you how to live a more fulfilling life by practicing mindfulness, self-compassion, and assertiveness and how to nurture healthy relationships with self and others.

I have been trained in a multitude of evidence-based therapeutic techniques. The techniques I most often utilize include dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, and mindfulness. I believe it is best to evaluate each individual, couple, or family’s needs before utilizing a specific treatment modality. I find therapy is most effective when we work together to tailor a treatment plan that meets your goals.
