Hi, I'm Emily. I have been a counselor for 9 years working exclusively with adults. These include a variety of settings ranging from community mental heath, EAP, court mandated Dual DX, inpatient hospitalization, and trauma group work. Through these experiences I've learn techniques to assist individuals empower themselves to facilitate lasting changes. If you are contemplating the decision to start or re-start therapy here are some ways it can benefit you including improving insight/ self awareness, improve coping skills / healthy habits as well as having a safe space to talk about struggles.
