I have worked with individuals and families to overcome challenges for over five years. As a therapist I believe we all have the ability to unlock our own healing potential. I have experience working wiuth children, adolescents, adults and couples and enjoy having a mix of all ages on my caseload. My treatment approach varies depending on the need of my clients. I work mostly from an Adlerian approach to gain insight into who my clients are as people and what they have experienced and then draw from many different approaches to help my clients meet their treatment goals including; Cognitive Behvioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Mindfulness. I will also often use Art and Narrative therapy techniques depending on the interests of my clients. I have experience working in multiple settings, such as private practice, schools, and family homes. Working from a systems approach I believe one person in a family system can make a change and subsequently the rest will also transform.

I completed my graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Adler Graduate school with a Bachelors in Psychology from Argosy University in Minnesota. Having great professors and supervisors from many theoretical frameworks has given me a wide array of knowledge and skills to individually tailor to my clients . I am also an avid reader of mental health and self-help books and can't remember the last time I read a fiction novel because I fell in love with my field and wanted to have plenty of resources to recommend to clients. I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, travel, arts and crafts, fishing and anything to do with the great outdoors! I love to help my clients discover what truly brings them happiness and help them overcome roadblocks to finding meaning, purpose and connection in their lives.
