Hello! My name is Emily but I go by my preferred name, Jill. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Virginia. I have over 14 years of experience working in the mental health field. I have worked in a variety of settings, including emergency, crisis, residential, outpatient, and forensic. I have experience working with a broad range and severity of clinical issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and career challenges. I also have experience working with first responders throughout my career.

My therapy style is warm and supportive, and I work to create a safe and supportive environment to empower you to start working on the challenges you bring to the session. I provide a non-judgmental environment and believe in treating everyone with respect, dignity, and compassion. My approach utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution focused treatment to process thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to implement change. We will work collaboratively to set goals in your treatment plan that best fit your unique needs.
