Hi! My name is Emily and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I completed my undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. I have been in the professional world of social work for close to 10 years working primarily with teenagers and young adults. Much of my experience has been in the school system, working closely with individuals and families during times of crisis. As a therapist, I provide my clients with a comfortable space to be their truest, raw self. I believe in client-centered, self-directed care. I am here guide your growth, not to make decisions for your life. We'll take some time dissecting the past and planning the future while taking the most time focusing on the present. With a combination of mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy, we will work together to overcome life's obstacles and challenges. We will practice techniques and skills to help build your confidence in dealing with everyday stress.
