I am a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) in Minnesota with seven years of experience. I have worked in residential, partial hospitalization, and outpatient settings. My specialties include depression and anxiety (GAD, social anxiety, OCD, phobias, and panic) but I also feel confident in treating issues such as life transitions, self-esteem/self-confidence, motivation, etc. My therapy style is non-judgmental and direct with a strengths-based approach. In my experience, clients tend to gain the most from therapy when they complete homework outside of the treatment session; however, I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I believe everyone has the capacity to change and that we all need a little help along the way. I am trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy, exposure and response prevention, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing.
