I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with 7+ years of professional work experience. I have experience working with adolescents, young adults, and their caregivers/parents. My areas of expertise include teen & family therapy, healing-focused trauma recovery, managing and living with depression and anxiety, and substance use and misuse. I am certified in EMDR, and if you are interested, we can determined together if EMDR via telehealth is a good fit for you. I also have training in trauma focused CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic therapies. I believe in the intrinsic strength of all people, and am ready to help you tap in to your own wealth of knowledge, to leave behind the tools that no longer serve you, and to integrate new practices that will help you lead the life you want. I also know that our world/society/culture does not allow access to the same supports and resources for all people, and that acknowledging systemic barriers is essential to helping any individual make changes in their life. I have a deep and ever growing awareness of my own positionally in life, and believe that it is important to acknowledge both similarities and differences to enhance the therapeutic process. I also have a particular passion for helping folks find the best therapeutic fit, and if it’s not me, I am happy to talk you through therapy frameworks and modalities to help you identify what & who will help you most on your journey.
