Change can be hard. Having the courage to reach out and discuss your inner pain and anxiety is the first step.

I am Licensed Mental Health Counselor from Syracuse, New York. I received my Masters Degree from Canisius College in 2011. I have worked with clients from residential facilities, inpatient, outpatient, and in the community for the last seven years. I have experience with: Women’s Issues, Suicidal Ideation, Self-Harming, Creating better coping skills, Codependency, Career Counseling, Anger Management, and Addiction.

I believe each person has their own pace, and am willing to find therapies and strategies that work for you. My approach is open minded and down to earth. I find that it is important to meet people where they are at, and develop a safe therapeutic relationship. My specialty is Cognitive Behavioral, Person Centered, integrating healing and other holistic models.

I started my career in psychology and counseling when I experienced a suicide in my family. It gave me the courage to make changes for myself, and help people around me who were also suffering grief, loss, and depression. I'm an advocate of mental health issues, and support American Foundation for Suicide Prevention each year.

When I'm not with clients I enjoy: traveling, taking photos, musical theater, concerts, and watching movies at home with my cat.
