I am a graduate of Regent University with a Masters in Counseling and a Certified Life Coach with the American Association Christian Coaches (AACC). I am ready to serve you with a wide range of counseling services. I help people suffering from emotional, psychological and spiritual difficulties. I work with parents and children on building good communication and healthy parenting skills. I also help individuals with bipolar disorder, clinical depression, and anxiety along with marital problems that seek to destroy marriages. I utilize solution focused counseling approaches that are able to line up with a biblical standard. I firmly believe that “counseling apart from God is only a temporary solution for potentially life long problems”. My counseling includes cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focus therapy and traditional psychotherapy techniques with a Christian based environment that will incorporate faith into the treatment process. When struggling with emotional or behavioral issues, patients will receive holistic treatment that addresses biological, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of the problem. I proudly work with Veterans and active duty military families who sometimes have different and unique sets of struggles. Additional certification and training includes Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) by Dr. Karyn Purvis, The Explosive Child by Dr. Ross Greene, and The American Association of Christian Coaches. I am also a provider for the Focus on the Family Network and part of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
