About

I (she/her) am a licensed independent social worker with ten years of experience practicing in Ohio. I received my bachelors and masters in social work from The Ohio State University (OSU). I worked many years as an advocate for college students at OSU before transitioning to working with children/adolescents/families who experienced some form of trauma. I then moved on to private practice to continue to expand my skill set and work on becoming a well-rounded clinician. I have worked with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, transition issues, and trauma. I also have extensive experience with working with LGBTQ+ individuals.

I use an eclectic therapeutic approach to focus on the unique needs of each individual client. Some modalities used include; Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral, Humanistic, Family Systems, Strength-Based, and Solution Focused Therapy.
